Second Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Third Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday-Friday)

Highlights of the position:

  • Assists in operations of multiple complex machines.
  • Performs setups on complex machines.
  • Detects machining malfunctions and repairs as required.
  • Changes machine tooling due to wear.
  • Loads and unloads machines or containers with raw, work in progress, or formed material.
  • Performs visual and part inspection using basic measuring devices to ensure quality of part.
  • Produces parts at an achievable rate to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years job-related experience.
  • Prior setup experience is a plus.
  • Good mechancial troubleshooting skills to resolve simple machine failures to ensure machines continue to operate.
  • Ability to diagnose machine errors and make the proper adjustments needed to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Ability to learn how to use simple quality devices such as gauges and calipers.
  • Basic computer skills to enter quality measurements and daily production numbers.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
