Highlights of the position:
- Identifies and evaluates potential suppliers to meet company needs.
- Gathers quotes, proposals, and negotiates contracts and secures the best possible terms.
- Manages the entire purchasing process, tracks orders, and ensures timely delivery and handles any issues that arise.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and suppliers.
- Ensures timely delivery of goods and services to avoid supply chain disruptions.
Required Skills:
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications and working knowledge of an ERP system.
- Understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience
